Basic Directions

Acapulco is accessible by road, at the intersection of Highway 200 and 95; however, tolls surrounding the area can make arriving by car an expensive proposition ($50 U.S. or more per car). However, the route is very scenic and is also traversed by inexpensive busses. From Mexico City, the drive is normally four to five hours.
