Airports

Travelers to Cuernavaca can arrive via either the Cuernavaca Airport just outside the city, or at Benito Juarez International, 37 miles north in Mexico City. The Cuernavaca Airport is obviously much more convenient, but connecting flights to the U.S. may be scarcer. Benito Juarez International is 45 to 90 minutes from Cuernavaca, depending on traffic.

Ground Transportation

Busses and shuttles are available from the airports in Cuernavaca or Mexico City to Cuernavaca destinations and hotels.

Basic Directions

Cuernavaca is located 37 miles (85 km) south of Mexico city, along the Mexico-Acapulco expressway (Highway 95).
