Getting There

	Oaxaca City is an approximately 4-5 hour drive from Mexico City and a 3-4 hour drive from Puebla. Car rentals are available at the airport as well as many locations downtown for your convenience. Most attractions are close enough together to be able to walk between them so you may not need a car unless traveling to the outer end of the city or beyond.

Shuttle Information

	Buses are available to get you to Oaxaca City from Mexico City. This is a very comfortable and scenic way to get between the two cities. Taxis in Oaxaca are plentiful, reasonably priced and well marked. If using a taxi, be sure to agree on a price before setting out.

Airport Information

	The Xoxocotlan International Airport is located 4 miles (6.5 km) from downtown Oaxaca. The airport is fairly small but is served by Mexicana Airlines from their hub in Mexico City. Occasionally there are flights from US cities such as Houston. Many regional flights are available to other areas of Mexico.
